Habilis warmly welcomes Sondra Beram as Executive Director

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sondra Beram as Executive Director of Habilis Housing.

Sondra brings commercial acumen, entrepreneurial thinking and a strong community spirit, along with the warmth and energy to bring people together and turn ideas into action. She will help keep our Summer Hill centre running smoothly and cost-effectively, while developing partnerships and funding opportunities to create more permanent homes for people living with schizophrenia.

Her experience includes founding and growing Bondi’s award-winning bRU Coffee, Australia’s first café to eliminate single-use cups entirely. Most recently, she served as Philanthropy Manager at a leading charity supporting people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage, helping secure substantial philanthropic support.

Sondra brings a strong ability to engage, inspire and influence people at every level, from the local community to business leaders, boards, government and philanthropic partners.
